A DECADE'S EXPERIENCE IN BOTH CLERKING AND GOVERNING.

Clerking for maintained schools, C of E schools, primary and secondary Academy Trust Boards and local governing bodies as well as all-phase schools offering specialised provision, and Alternative Provision schools. I have had experience in Clerking Complaint Review panels, staff and pupil disciplinary meetings, staff grievances, pupil admission and exclusion appeals, Head teacher recruitment and Pay appeals. Providing Clerking services for IEBs and a current SIB. I have assisted schools in organising the recruitment of new governors. I have mentored new and inexperienced Clerks; I have also been mentor to new governors.

I always strive to be proactive in maintaining close relationships with Chairs and Headteachers to achieve governance priorities.

I am able to prioritise and can work to overlapping deadlines (e.g. 3 of my schools meet on consecutive evenings in each cycle). 

It is an integral part of my personality to strive for accuracy in my note-taking. This is aided by my listening and comprehension skills. 

I maintain a well-organised and efficient filing system for each school.
